SHIPPING METHODS

*Estimated shipment time includes processing and carrier transit time. Please allow up to 3 business days for your order to ship 

 

OVERNIGHT/2ND DAY DELIVERY 

Orders must be placed before 1 pm US Pacific Time to be processed on the same business day. Delivery time does not include Saturdays, Sundays or Holidays. Expedited shipping methods are not available to P.O. Boxes, APO/FPO/DPO addresses, Hawaii, or Alaska. 

 

HAWAII/ALASKA AND P.O. 

Orders shipped to Alaska, Hawaii, and P.O. Boxes generally take 5-7 days, although remote areas can take a bit longer. We do not offer expedited shipping. 

 

RESTRICTED ITEMS 

The U.S. Department of Transportation requires some of our items, like fragrance and BADgal Waterproof Mascara to ship only via ground transportation. Sadly, we cannot ship these products to Alaska, Hawaii, or internationally. 

 

SHIPMENTS TO FORWARDING COMPANIES 

BenefitCosmetics.com is not responsible for damage, defect, material difference, or loss that occurs to goods delivered to a forwarding company. BenefitCosmetics.com is not responsible to provide a replacement or refund for any goods delivered to a forwarding company. If you choose to use a forwarding company, we recommend requesting the forwarder refuse any packages that arrive damaged. If a package is lost or damaged after being received by the freight forwarder, it is the responsibility of the freight forwarded.

To take advantage of a special promotion, you’ll need to enter a promo code in your Shopping Bag or during Checkout. The offer will be automatically applied when you hit the appropriate order threshold. Offer codes are case sensitive and should be entered exactly as they appear. Only one offer code may be used per online order.

U.S. SALES TAX

We collect state sales tax on orders shipped to the following states: Alabama, Arizona, California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas, Virginia, Washington, Wisconsin. This list is subject to change as we open new locations.

Tax is estimated at the time an order is placed and a final calculation of the actual sales tax will be reflected on your order confirmation email and packing slip.


PAYMENT OPTIONS

BenefitCosmetics.com accepts Apple Pay, Klarna, PayPal, and US Credit Cards from American Express, MasterCard, and Visa. We do not accept international credit cards. If you are uncomfortable entering your credit card information online, we will happily accept your order by phone. Just give us a ring at 1-800-781-2336 (M-F 10:00am-6:00pm EST).

For your security, your billing name and address must match that of the credit card used for payment. We reserve the right to cancel any order that does not match these criteria.

Email is not a secure method of transmitting credit card information, so please do NOT send us any credit card information via an email. Safety first!

Have no fear. Benefit’s safe shopping is here! We aim to provide you with a safe and convenient online shopping experience. When placing an order online, your information is transmitted using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology, an approved industry standard that is used by vendors to ensure the security of online business. It negotiates and employs the essential functions of mutual authentication, data encryption, and data integrity for secure transactions.

One of the ways you can check the security of your connection, take a look at the lower corner of your browser window as you place your order. If you see an unbroken key or a closed lock (depending on your browser), then SSL is active and the server is secure. You can also double-check by looking at the URL line of your browser. When entering a new shipping address, you may be prompted to re-enter your credit card information. This procedure is done to ensure the maximum safety for your personal data.


ORDER CONFIRMATION

An order confirmation will appear as the final step in your order process. In addition, you’ll receive an email confirmation with an order number and summary of your fabulous new purchase! Get excited...Benefit is now on its way to you! Once your order has shipped, you’ll receive an additional email to confirm shipment of your order.

ORDER CANCELLATION

You're able to have an order cancelled within 30 minutes of placing an order. Give us a ring at 1-800-781-2336 (M-F 10:00am-6:00pm EST) and we’ll be happy to assist you. Once you receive an order confirmation by email, it means your order is already being processed and cannot be changed or cancelled by you or our Customer Care team.


RESTRICTED PRODUCTS

We're sorry, but some of our products such as BADgal Bang waterproof mascara are restricted to ship via ground transportation only. We are unable to ship these restricted products to Alaska or Hawaii. You'll be instructed to remove these items from your Shopping Bag at Checkout.


MAXIMUM PURCHASE POLICY

The product and services available on our websites, including any samples, are for personal use only. As such, we reserve the right to limit per item order quantities to 6 per product and 20 different products per order.

We want you to be totally satisfied with your order, however we understand if a product doesn't work out and want to make sure the return is as painless as possible.

ONLINE PURCHASE RETURN

If you wish to return a product, please do so within 30 days from the ship date for a refund on the purchase price, minus shipping, handling, gift wrap, and other charges. Refunds will be credited to the original credit card use for payment. Purchases sale items cannot be returned for a refund.

Naturally, we cannot take returns on overly used products or products not bought online at BenefitCosmetics.com. To return items to BenefitCosmetics.com, please follow these simple steps:

  1. Fill out the "Return form" enclosed in your original order and place it inside the return package. Pack and seal your return merchandise securely (in the original package, if you can!).
  2. Stick the return label provided to the outside of your return package. It's always a good idea to ship your return with a service that provides tracking and insurance to protect your package (we are not responsible for any packages lost in transit).

If you purchased a product at one of our boutiques, BrowBar Lounges or counters, please return it to the location where it was purchased. Sorry, gorgeous, but we can only accept returns of products purchased at BenefitCosmetics.com. Please read our Refund Policy for more information.


GLAM UP AND AWAY! AUTOMATED RETAIL KIOSK RETURNS

If you wish to return a product from one of our automated retail kiosks, please do so within 30 days of purchase for a refund. All refunds will be credited to the original credit card used for payment.

To return items to Benefit Cosmetics, please follow these simple steps:

  1. Pack and seal your return merchandise securely and include a copy of the original receipt, as well as an email and phone number where you can be contacted.
  2. We recommend shipping your return with a service that provides tracking and insurance as we are not responsible for any packages lost in transit. All returns should be mailed to the address printed at the bottom of your receipt. Please mark the package to the attention of "Glam up and away! Returns".
  3. Your return will be processed promptly upon arrival, and we will send you a confirmation by email. Please allow 3-5 weeks from the shipping date for your account to be credited. Shipping and handling charges are not refundable.

Adverse reactions to gluten have never been verified after using cosmetic products, because gluten is not absorbed through the skin. To reassure our customers on the gluten issue, Benefit Cosmetics has enacted the following policies:

  1. We no longer formulate with gluten as a cosmetic ingredient
  2. We have high quality standards for ingredients derived from grain sources

Despite these precautions, trace levels of gluten could be present from some raw materials in all cosmetic products.

For people suffering from intolerance to gluten who choose to avoid the use of all products derived from grain sources, we recommend avoiding the following ingredients: Triticum vulgare (wheat), Avena sative, Secale cereal and Hordeum distichon.

Given our policies and the very low level of gluten residue exposure, we ensure that our cosmetic products are safe under normal and reasonable use.

Benefit does not test our products on animals, nor do we permit suppliers or retailers to conduct testing on our behalf. All Benefit products undergo very strict tolerance tests using non-animal methods during the development of each product to ensure quality and safety prior to market.

 In each country where we operate around the world, we strictly follow local rules and laws. While Benefit Cosmetics has operated in China since September 2007, as of May 2022 we have only imported “General” cosmetics products, which bypass premarket testing and are no longer subject to post-market animal testing.

FAQS KLARNA

Klarna is an alternate payment method that allows you to split your purchase into 4 interest-free payments* so instead of paying for your purchase all at once, you can split it into four smaller chunks. To use Klarna to pay for your purchase, choose Klarna at checkout. The first payment will be taken from your credit or debit card when your order is shipped. After that, the remaining three payments will be automatically charged to your card every two weeks.

*CA resident loans made or arranged pursuant to a California Finance Lenders Law license.

Just a few things that are probably already in your bag. To sign up, you will need:

  1. A US-issued debit or credit card
  2. To be 18 years of age or over
  3. An SMS-capable phone number
  4. A US residential address

Grab your (digital) basket and head to check out! If your purchase is eligible for 4 interest-free payments with Klarna, you’ll be able to select Klarna as a payment method during checkout. After your order is shipped, you’ll be charged for the first payment. Klarna will send a notification once the payment has been processed. You’ll be informed ahead of time before the next payments.

Klarna currently accepts most debit and credit cards (i.e., Mastercard, Visa, Discover, American Express). Please note, prepaid cards are not accepted.

In general, you do not need to pay for goodies that you haven't received, or for purchases that arrive damaged, broken, or defective. Follow our help instructions and “report a problem” in your Klarna account to pause your payments until the issue is resolved.

If we issue a refund or cancel your order, Klarna will send an adjusted statement and payment schedule. You can check the status of your payments anytime via Klarna’s site or in your Klarna app.

If you need to return part of or all of your order, just follow our return instructions. As you complete your return, be sure to hold onto the tracking number. Then, log into your Klarna account, select “Report a Return”, and Klarna will pause your statement.

As soon as we process your return, Klarna will send an adjusted statement and payment schedule. With a full return, Klarna will refund any payments collected and cancel any future scheduled payments. You can always check on the status of your order in the Klarna app.

No payday maydays here—Klarna will send an email confirmation for all completed payments. You can also call or live chat with Klarna's customer service agents 24/7 to confirm payment.

Absolutely! If you want to pay the next payment or full balance of your payment plan early, just log into the Klarna app, go to the “Purchases” page, and select “Pay Off Early.”

Klarna will automatically attempt to collect payment for your purchase from the card that you entered at checkout. You can find out when your payments will be collected in the email that you received at the time of purchase or by logging into your Klarna account. If you need extra time to make a payment, log into the Klarna app, go to the “Purchases” page, and select “Extend Due Date.”


If the automatic payment fails, Klarna will try again after 7 days. If this payment also fails, Klarna will make another attempt after an additional 7 days (so that means 14 days after the date of the first attempt). Your credit score will not be impacted by using Klarna’s Pay in 4 payments program (even if you have failed to pay on time).
