Maximum Purchase Policy:

The product and services available on our websites, including any samples, are for personal use only. As such, we reserve the right to limit per item order quantities to 6 per product and 25 different products per order.

What happens if I don’t receive my order:

If you do not receive your order within 30 days of shipping notification please contact us so we can investigate and help resolve this matter. We are unable to accept lost parcels if we are not contacted within 30 days of shipping.

We want you to be totally satisfied with your order, however we understand if a product doesn't work out and want to make sure the return is as painless as possible.

Online Purchase Return:

If you wish to return a product, please do so within 30 days from the ship date for a refund on the purchase price, minus shipping, gift wrap, or any other non-refundable items. Refunds will be credited to the original credit card or paypal account used for payment. If you received any free gifts or promotional items with your order, you would also need to enclose these with your return otherwise we will not be able to complete your refund in full and you could be charged for missing items.

Naturally, we cannot take returns on used products or products not bought online at BenefitCosmetics.com/uk. To return items to BenefitCosmetics.com/uk, please follow these simple steps:

1. Complete the "Return form" enclosed in your original order and place it inside the return package. Pack and seal your return merchandise securely (in the original package if possible).

2. Affix the Return Label provided to the outside of your return package. We recommend shipping your return with a service that provides tracking and insurance as we are not responsible for any packages lost in transit. All returns should be mailed to:

3. Your return will be processed promptly upon arrival, and we will send you a confirmation by email. Please allow 2-3 weeks from the shipping date for your account to be credited. Shipping and handling charges are not refundable.

We will charge a £10 fee for any partial Nice Package Custom Makeup Kit returns, along with the full retail price of the makeup bag if the bag is also not returned. This will be deducted from your refund.

In Store Purchase Return:

If you purchased a Benefit product at one of our Boutiques, BrowBar Lounges or counters and wish to return it, please check with the individual retailer’s Returns and Exchange Policy before taking it back to the store or contact customercareuk@benefitcosmetics.com for additional returns information should the store not be able to accept the return.

For faulty products queries we require a picture of the item in question as well as proof of purchase before your query can be dealt with. If you're unhappy with the product and wish to return it, we require the original product as well as proof of purchase before we can process this.

Benefit does not test our products on animals, nor do we permit suppliers or retailers to conduct testing on our behalf. All Benefit products undergo very strict tolerance tests using non-animal methods during the development of each product to ensure quality and safety prior to market.

 

In each country where we operate around the world, we strictly follow local rules and laws. While Benefit Cosmetics has operated in China since September 2007, as of May 2022 we have only imported “General” cosmetics products, which bypass premarket testing and are no longer subject to post-market animal testing.

Each country has its own specific regulations that are regularly updated. Benefit's parent company, LVMH, has always been actively involved in the search for alternative testing methods for many years and supports several industry research programs, including those conducted by the Johns Hopkins University Center for Alternatives to Animal Testing, the European Chemical Industry Ecology and Toxicology Centre (ECETOC), the European Cosmetic, Toiletry and Perfumery Association (COLIPA) and the Personal Care Products Council (PCPC).

Consumer safety is our top priority. Heavy metals are not added to our products and we carefully scrutinise all raw materials in order to comply with the strictest worldwide regulations (USA, Canada, EU, Japan, & Asia).

It is possible that you checked out 'as a guest'. When you check out, you must ensure that you create and login to your account. This way, all of your order history will be saved to your account and you will be able to do things like track your order and update your address details.

In accordance with Government legislation, all employers with over 250 employees are required by law to publish Gender Pay Gap figures. The Government has done this because figures show on average, women are paid 8.3% less than men in the UK (ONS 2022). This has been attributed to a multitude of factors, however by employers publishing their figures, the Government intends there to be greater transparency which in turn can increase the likelihood of change, which Benefit Cosmetics supports. This Mutual Nondisclosure Agreement (“Agreement”) is made as of ______________________, between Benefit Cosmetics LLC, a Delaware limited liability company located at 595 Market Street, 30th Floor, San Francisco, CA 94105 (“Benefit”), and _____________________________ located at _________________________ (“Company”).

WHEREAS, Benefit and Company (collectively the “Parties”) desire to discuss, or are currently engaged in, certain mutually beneficial business arrangements, and

WHEREAS, such arrangements may involve the disclosure of the parties’ Proprietary Information,

WHEREAS, the parties are entering into this Agreement to assure the confidentiality of such information.

NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the promises and covenants contained herein and as an inducement to the other party to disclose its Proprietary Information, the parties agree as follows:


  1. Proprietary Information. For purposes of this Agreement, the term “Proprietary Information” means all information (whether oral, written, electronic or otherwise) disclosed by one party or its agents (collectively the “Disclosing Party”) to the other party (the “Receiving Party”). Proprietary Information includes, without limitation (i) information relating to the Disclosing Party’s current or future technology, business plans, business practices, strategies, performance, promotional and marketing activities, finances and other business affairs, which information may include, but is not limited to, business manuals, training manuals, processes, financial information, databases, know-how, methods of doing business, personnel data, contracts, business relationships and business partners, (ii) third-party information that the Disclosing Party is obligated to keep confidential, (iii) all discussions regarding any RFI, RFP or any proposed business relationship between the parties and (iv) any copies and analysis of the foregoing.
  2. Use of Proprietary Information. Each party shall hold in confidence and shall not disclose to any person outside its organization, any Proprietary Information. Each party shall use such Proprietary Information only for the purpose for which it was disclosed and shall not use or exploit such Proprietary Information for its own benefit or the benefit of another without the prior written consent of the other party. The Receiving Party shall hold in confidence and shall not disclose to any person outside its organization, any Proprietary Information of the Disclosing Party. The Receiving Party shall disclose Proprietary Information received by it under this Agreement only to persons within its organization who have a need to know in the course of the performance of their duties. The Receiving Party will make all reasonable efforts to avoid disclosure, dissemination or unauthorized use of Disclosing Party Proprietary Information, which efforts shall include the highest degree of care that either Party utilizes to protect its own Proprietary Information of a similar nature. The Receiving Party shall be responsible for any disclosure or misuse of Proprietary Information which results from its failure to comply with this Section 2.
  3. Limitation on Obligations. The obligations of the parties specified in Section 2 above shall not apply, and neither party shall have further obligations, with respect to any Proprietary Information to the extent that the Receiving Party can demonstrate that such Proprietary Information (i) is or becomes generally known to the public through no wrongful act on the part of either party, (ii) is in either parties’ possession at the time of disclosure other than as a result of a breach of any legal obligation, (iii) becomes known to either party through disclosure by other sources having the legal right to disclose such Proprietary Information, (iv) is independently developed by either party without reference to or reliance upon the Proprietary Information or (iv) is required to be disclosed by either party to comply with applicable laws or governmental regulations, provided that the Receiving Party provides prior written notice of such disclosure to Disclosing Party and takes reasonable and lawful actions, as specified by and at the expense of the Disclosing Party, to avoid and/or minimize the extent of such disclosure.
  4. Ownership of Proprietary Information. All Disclosing Party Proprietary Information, and all patent, copyright, trade secret, trademark, and other intellectual property rights therein will remain the exclusive property of the Disclosing Party. No license or conveyance of any patent, copyright, trade secret, trademark, and other intellectual property rights is granted or implied under this Agreement.
  5. Notice of Unauthorized Use. The Receiving Party will notify the Disclosing Party immediately upon discovery of any unauthorized use or disclosure of Disclosing Party Proprietary Information or any other breach of this Agreement by the Receiving Party. The Receiving Party will cooperate with the Disclosing Party in every reasonable way to help the Disclosing Party regain possession of such Proprietary Information and prevent its further unauthorized use.
  6. Return of Documents. The Receiving Party shall, upon a decision by the Receiving Party not to proceed with the proposed business relationship or upon the request of the Disclosing Party, return all drawings, documents, and other tangible manifestations (including all copies and reproductions) of Proprietary Information received by the Receiving Party pursuant to this Agreement.
  7. Miscellaneous.

a. This Agreement represents the entire understanding between the parties with respect to the exchange of Proprietary Information and supersedes all prior agreements, written or oral, between Benefit and the Company relating to the subject matter of this Agreement. This Agrenment may not be modified, amended, or discharged, in whole or in part, except by an agreement in writing signed by Benefit and the Company.

b. The parties acknowledge that this Agreement does not obligate either party to disclose any information to the other party or to negotiate with or enter into any agreement or relationship with the other party. Proprietary Information is delivered “AS IS,” and all representations and warranties, expressed or implied, are hereby disclaimed.

c. This Agreement may not be assigned by either party without the prior written consent of the non-assigning party.

d. This Agreement shall be construed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom.

e. If a provision of this Agreement is held invalid, such invalidity will not affect any other provision of this Agreement that can be given effect without the invalid provision.

f. The provisions of this Agreement are necessary for the protection of the business and goodwill of both parties and are considered by both parties to be reasonable for such purpose. Any breach of this Agreement will cause substantial and irreparable damages and, therefore, in the event of any such breach, in addition to other remedies that may be available, the offended party shall have the right to seek specific performance and other injunctive and equitable relief. The prevailing party in any dispute or legal action brought in connection with this Agreement shall be entitled to recover attorneys’ fees and costs.


This Agreement may be executed in counterparts and may be exchanged by facsimile or electronically scanned copy exchanged via email, each of which shall be deemed to be an original and all of which together shall constitute one and the same Agreement.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties have duly executed this Agreement by their signatures below.

FAQS KLARNA

Klarna is an alternate payment method that allows you to split your purchase into 4 interest-free payments so instead of paying for your purchase all at once, you can split it into four smaller chunks. To use Klarna to pay for your purchase, choose Klarna at checkout. The first payment will be taken from your credit or debit card when your order is shipped. After that, the remaining three payments will be automatically charged to your card every two weeks.

Just a few things that are probably already in your bag. To sign up, you will need:

  1. A UK-issued debit or credit card
  2. To be 18 years of age or over
  3. An SMS-capable phone number
  4. A UK residential address

Grab your (digital) basket and head to check out! If your purchase is eligible for 4 interest-free payments with Klarna, you’ll be able to select Klarna as a payment method during checkout. After your order is shipped, you’ll be charged for the first payment. Klarna will send a notification once the payment has been processed. You’ll be informed ahead of time before the next payments.

Klarna currently accepts most debit and credit cards (i.e., Mastercard, Visa, Discover, American Express). Please note, prepaid cards are not accepted.

In general, you do not need to pay for goodies that you haven't received, or for purchases that arrive damaged, broken, or defective. Follow our help instructions and “report a problem” in your Klarna account to pause your payments until the issue is resolved.

If we issue a refund or cancel your order, Klarna will send an adjusted statement and payment schedule. You can check the status of your payments anytime via Klarna’s site or in your Klarna app.

If you need to return part of or all of your order, just follow our return instructions. As you complete your return, be sure to hold onto the tracking number. Then, log into your Klarna account, select “Report a Return”, and Klarna will pause your statement.

As soon as we process your return, Klarna will send an adjusted statement and payment schedule. With a full return, Klarna will refund any payments collected and cancel any future scheduled payments. You can always check on the status of your order in the Klarna app.

No payday maydays here—Klarna will send an email confirmation for all completed payments. You can also call or live chat with Klarna's customer service agents 24/7 to confirm payment.

Absolutely! If you want to pay the next payment or full balance of your payment plan early, just log into the Klarna app, go to the “Purchases” page, and select “Pay Off Early.”

Klarna will automatically attempt to collect payment for your purchase from the card that you entered at checkout. You can find out when your payments will be collected in the email that you received at the time of purchase or by logging into your Klarna account. If you need extra time to make a payment, log into the Klarna app, go to the “Purchases” page, and select “Extend Due Date.”


If the automatic payment fails, Klarna will try again after 7 days. If this payment also fails, Klarna will make another attempt after an additional 7 days (so that means 14 days after the date of the first attempt). Your credit score will not be impacted by using Klarna’s Pay in 4 payments program (even if you have failed to pay on time).
